Lord Teach Me How To Fish
Breaking the Spirit of Poverty Off of Your Life
by Torrey Montgomery
Life is the process of releasing God’s Glory in the Earth. Remember the Bible says that the whole earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Glory of God (Habakkuk 2:14). How does that happen? It happens through your life. Just because you’re living you’re seeing God’s Glory. Every time you take a breath you see God’s Glory. When you operate in your gifting and talents you are releasing God’s Glory.
Life is God’s method of revealing his creative power. This is why everyone is unique. No one person is like the other. Even twins although they look alike and act alike they are different in some way. There is no one finger print the same. We are all different. Your difference is where you will find your fish. Your difference is what makes you a world changer in a specific area of influence.
Life is God’s method to reveal Himself in the earth. In everything that you go through God has a way of showing Himself revealing his nature and character. Paul said that he was called in his mother’s womb so that Christ can be revealed in him. (Galatians 1:15-16) God did not create us to just exist. He created us to live. In John 10:10 Jesus said, “The thief cometh to kill, steal, and destroy, but I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” Most people have mastered existing; however, they never start living. To exist is to be present but not productive. I’m here but I’m not contributing to the earth. To exist means that I’m just surviving. God never attended on us to just survive, His idea was that we would be conquers. Not only conquers but more than conquerors.
When you find your fish, it will change the very course of your life. Remember the fish is the thing God created you for. It is the thing God has set up to move you from existing to living. There are five daily signs to let you know that you are living the life that God has set up for you experience daily growth, daily effectiveness, daily peace, daily favor, and daily joy.
